As part the activities of the Multi-Stakeholder Platform for Protecting Biodiversity in the Arab Region, the Nature-Based Solutions for Climate Resilience Working Group is holding its second in-person meeting, organized by the American University of Beirut (AUB) and involving 15 member institutions.
The meeting aims to review and enhance project proposals by improving the clarity of their vision and objectives, strengthening their structural coherence and budgeting, and increasing their fundability by aligning them with national priorities and donor interests.
The proposals address strategic themes, as follows:
- Technological and traditional knowledge-driven forest restoration for climate resilience in the Mashreq-Maghreb region;
- Mangrove restoration for coastal resilience and local green business growth;
- Enhancing biodiversity resilience through ecological corridors in the Arab region.
